Outside of Temple Israel’s synagogue, there are many opportunities to participate in Jewish life and community in Greater Orlando. The following organizations foster partnerships, pride, social services, and a foundation for Jewish life here and in Israel.

Jewish Family Services (JFS Orlando)

Jewish Family Services of Greater Orlando (JFS Orlando) provides services to stabilize individuals and families in crisis and enhances the quality of life across generations to all members of the Central Florida community. Programs include counseling services, emergency services, family stabilization, and volunteer services.

The Jewish Pavilion

The Jewish Pavilion enhances the lives of residents in independent, assisted living, and skilled nursing facilities throughout Central Florida by providing visitation, Shabbat services, holiday festivities, intergenerational celebrations, musicals, educational courses, and other programs, making our seniors feel connected to a loving community. Staff and volunteers visit seniors in more than 50 independent, assisted living, and long-term care facilities. Services and programs are open to residents of all faiths.

Kinneret Apartments and Council on Aging

Founded in 1968 by the Jewish community under Federal HUD programs, Kinneret Apartments offers affordable housing for independent older adults and the Kinneret Council on Aging (KCOA) provides amenities and social activities to enhance the lives of the residents and meet their physical, social, and psychological needs.
