Spiritual Programs

Morning Sparks

Warm up spiritually before morning before morning Shabbat services on the first Shabbat of each month.

Held from 9:00 – 9:30 am in the Savage Family Chapel, the discussion is led by Natan Brener.

A handout with the reading of the Jewish spiritual text of the day will be provided to all in attendance and we will discuss topics like prayer, mitzvot, God, the soul of man, Torah, repentance, the way of choice, divine manifestation, and more.

The program is free and open to the entire community. Please join us prior to services in the Rein Sanctuary.

Prayerful Meditation

Prayerful Meditation is an experiential workshop to help open up the channels of spirit that connect us to God. Jews used classic meditation techniques before they were called meditation. Our prayers and traditions are full of imagery, mantric texts, and more that help us connect deeply.

No experience in meditation is needed. This monthly program where each session is different, led by Rabbi Joshua Neely, will include:

  • Meditation
  • Guided imagery
  • Breathing exercises, and more
